If we agree a contract for services, I will request the following additional data:
- Your postal address (this is required for compliance with UK invoicing regulations)
- Your project details and files, as are necessary for me to carry out the services offered
My methods of storage of this data are as follows:
- Email addresses and associated correspondence are stored in my password-protected online email account, and in the email client and address book on my secured notebook and desktop computers.
- Project files are stored on the hard drive of my secured notebook and desktop computers, and backed up to password-protected cloud accounts (I use both Dropbox and Google Drive File Stream).
Duration of data storage:
- I will store your name and address for a minimum of six years, as required for compliance with UK business regulations.
- Unless you request otherwise, I will keep your project files for the same duration. You can request that your project files be deleted at any point prior to this.
Data sharing:
- Unless audited by the UK tax authorities (HMRC), I do not share your data with anyone.
- If you agree to provide a testimonial including your name or other data, I may publish it on this website and in my business directory listings.
- I do not discuss your project details with any third parties unless there is a valid reason to do so and only then with your express permission.
